The residency director is responsible for the coordination of the residency program and the clinics associated with the residency. The position supervises and directs the faculty, coordinates the education and clinical experiences of residents, and is responsible for maintaining the program accreditation and for the clinical operations of the Family Medicine / Cherry Hill clinic. The leadership team includes two assistant directors and a clinic manager. Additional program director duties include resident teaching (inpatient and outpatient), patient care and mentorship of residents. The program is based at the Swedish Cherry Hill Clinic and has three satellite training continuity clinics at Seattle Indian Health Board Clinic, Carolyn Downs Family Health Center, and SeaMar Community Health Center. Applicants must have at least five years of family medicine residency teaching and leadership experience. The Program Director does full spectrum clinical work including inpatient medicine and OB and participates in call rotation.
